Matt and Nico Defer are a production duo currently based in Paris and Los Angeles. The brothers, raised in a musical family, have created music together since their early childhood. After forming a band, the two branched out as session musicians, touring internationally in addition to performing on television with top artists. Following the creation of two albums of their own original work, they shifted their focus to composing and production.

As classically trained musicians with a rock background, Matt and Nico have a significant range of influences, ranging from composers such as Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman, to pop masterminds like Max Martin and Andrew Watt. Offerings from their innovative musical universe include compositions incorporating a variety of styles such as epic, orchestral, atmospheric and more.
